The DesignerAlexander McQueen was a high-end U.K based fashion designer known for his elaborate and incredibly theatrical clothing pieces, often worn by celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Lady Gaga. What critics often believe separated McQueen from other designers during his lifetime was his creativity and influence on the world of fashion. As the once proclaimed 'King of Fashion', Alexander McQueen was a household name within months of his first runway show, a semi-annual production, which gained Alexander the majority of his publicity. He is widely remembered as one of the greatest minds in contemporary fashion. Despite his death in 2010, McQueen's fashion brand lives on today with his successor Sarah Burton taking over the role of Head Designer.
